Building Description: The Andrews Theatre was constructed behind three facades of buildings that remained after a fire destroyed the structures. The buildings destroyed dated back to the early 1890s if not earlier. The facades, bolstered by stanchions, remained there until the construction of the Andrews Theatre in the late 90s (1998). Architect Peter Flynn of Flynn and Battaglia designed the theatre as well as the ten apartments above. Before the fire, the buildings housed the Flair Lounge, a photography store and Singer’s Boxing Gym.
